Tailer attacker caught! Victim needs help

They got him! John Franklyn was arrested by police at 11 p.m. Wednesday. The 53-year-old was charged with attempted murder, robbery, assault and criminal possession of a weapon, authorties said.

Franklyn who robbed and stabbed the owner of Apel’s Alterations on E.27th last week was arrested at the Bellevue shelter on 30th st.

Franklyn was just let off on parole in December for a 2003 Staten Island robbery.

The victim recovering from his wounds needs financial assistance paying off his medical bills. A sign posted on the window of his shop includes a link for donations.
